Leaders in education

I have a cool assignment this semester in my policy class: I need to select a leader in education, research his or her life and work, and write a profile.

Who are some heroes of yours? Who do you recommend?

  1. Hmmm, that is a really good question. Although I have never taught in a Montessori classroom, I did read the biography and several books about Maria Montessori and found her and the methods she introduced to be so intriguing to study!

Now if you are talking about someone current - I admire Teacher Tom!
